Throw torches put around river bed to 20 centimeters-over hanging lantern and ignite it.This is a fire festival handed down in four city district(Morisato ,Kawai, TOono,  Ashu).It is thankful for agricultural abundant crops and for fire god`Atago shrine` to close up fire devil.

Karasu denraku kawakami shrine

    • ‘Karasu denraku’ is 600 year-old kawakami shrine’s hounougei. It is held in October 10th annually to pray for abundant crop and the well-being of families. It is practiced by nine people who use whistle, drum and pinsasara.
